Stuttering John's KCBS Competition

We are excited to be hosting the first annual Stuttering John's Smokehouse KCBS  Competition in conjunction with Two Blokes Cider Fathers Day Festival.  BBQ competitors will be set in amongst the orchards. at Two Blokes Cidery. Bring  the whole family out and enjoy a fun fathers day event with lots to do.

Stuttering John's Smokehouse

Stuttering John's Smokehouse is a family run BBQ Company in Bowmanville Ontario. Before you ask...Yes, John really does stutter and uses the business name to show others that you don't have to hide your disability, Rise Above. Georgia and Johnathon are the team that make up Stuttering John's Smokehouse and have been serving Durham Region their amazing BBQ  since 2011. 

Two Blokes Cider

In the spring of 2015, with the incredible support of our friends and family, they planted their first major cider orchard. The orchard contains over 2000 apple trees representing ten delicious bittersharp and bittersweet cider varieties. Now, three years later the orchard is coming into production and they’re excited to start sharing the unique tastes of these apples with a cider community that is thirsty for something unique and different.


The Competition

Stuttering John's KCBS Competition is being held at Two Blokes Cider in Seagrave. Your site will be amongst the orchard fields surrounded by nature. You will have a 20X20 space to utilize. Water is available however no direct connection will allowed, bring your jugs. Washrooms are close by. Power is not provided so please bring your own generator. We encourage selling of your own rubs or sauces but gauge your time accordingly, you are there to compete.  Standard KCBS Times apply. Load in will start June 17, 10:00am.
